Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and contribute to efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will handle prescription processing, patient registration, data entry, and assist with health services and vaccines where allowed. The role requires PTCB certification and at least 1 year of pharmacy tech experience, with flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy technician experience preferred; at least 1 year in retail or hospital.
• PTCB certification (CPhT) required where applicable.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care tasks including registration, prescription data entry, and preparation of medications.
• Under pharmacist supervision, process prescriptions, verify data and support health services where allowed by law.
• Lead training and support for pharmacy technicians; support inventory management and routine reporting.
