Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; PTCB certification preferred where applicable.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities to support a positive patient experience as a full-time certified technician.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians; handle discipline and termination decisions as needed.
• Engage customers, resolve complaints, and respond to non-clinical inquiries to enhance the customer experience.
• Support patient care activities including registration, data entry, medication preparation, and vaccine/health service offerings where allowed by law.
• Oversee scheduling, workload allocation, inventory management, recordkeeping, and compliance with policies and regulations.
