Job summary

Walgreens in Fresno, CA is seeking a full-time, certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and clinical workflow. You will assist with prescription processing, patient interactions, and inventory under the supervision of a pharmacist.

You will contribute to training and coaching of technicians, manage scheduling, and participate in health services offered by the pharmacy while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians; oversee scheduling and development.
