Job summary

Walgreens in Rancho Cordova, CA seeks a full-time, certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical operations and patient services. You will assist pharmacists with prescriptions, registrations, and data entry while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will also participate in patient care activities such as vaccine administration within scope, lead technician training, and help maintain a positive customer experience through proactive service and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of retail or hospital pharmacy technician experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and maintain workflow.
• Assist pharmacist with prescription data entry and patient registration.
• Support vaccine administration and health screenings where allowed.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve complaints.
