Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and daily workflow. Under pharmacist supervision, you will process prescriptions, enter data, and support patient care while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

You will also lead technician training, oversee scheduling, and manage performance and inventory. A strong emphasis on customer service and accurate recordkeeping is essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations; ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experience.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions under supervision.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians; handle discipline as needed.
• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including prescription data entry and medication preparation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, laws and regulatory requirements; manage records and inventory.
