Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting and verification where allowed by law.
• Handle patient and physician calls under supervision of a pharmacist and participate in healthcare service offerings such as vaccines and health screenings where permitted by law.
• Delegate, direct and assign non-clinical work within company policies to optimize workflow and ensure on-time task completion.
• Prepare and file reports required by the company and government agencies; manage pharmacy inventory and daily scheduling.
• Ensure proper recordkeeping, security safeguards and adherence to Good Faith Dispensing policies during dispensing activities.
• Monitor licensure, registrations and certifications; support training, onboarding and performance management of technicians.
