Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical operations and patient services in a retail pharmacy setting. Under pharmacist supervision, you will process prescriptions, assist with vaccines and health services where allowed by law, and manage daily workflow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification.
• Has one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in the delivery of patient care including patient registration and prescription data entry.
• Prepare medications for patients and verify (where allowed by law).
• Under pharmacist supervision, participate in vaccination, health screenings, and health services allowed by law.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians within company policies and regulatory requirements.
