Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a full-time, certified pharmacy technician to perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations, under pharmacist supervision, ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

You will oversee technician personnel, lead training and performance management, and help implement new technologies and processes while maintaining Good Faith dispensing and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PTCB certification required (except Puerto Rico).
• Minimum one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with patient care including registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation.
• Perform non-clinical operational tasks under pharmacist supervision.
• Contribute to inventory management, reports, and compliance.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Support community outreach and immunization clinics as directed.
