Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a full-time, non-clinical Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations under the supervision of a pharmacist.

You will assist with prescription data entry, processing, and patient registration to ensure accurate dispensing and a positive patient experience. The role includes support for vaccines and health screenings, participation in training and performance management of technicians, and collaboration on inventory and store-level pharmacy processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• Has one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy and Health System Pharmacy locations)

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacist with prescription data entry, dispensing, and patient registration.
• Assist with vaccines, health screenings, and other allowed services.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Help manage inventory and pharmacy security.
• Communicate with team and manage scheduling.
