Job summary

NuvemRx is launching a new community pharmacy embedded within a Champaign, IL health center. As Pharmacist-in-Charge, you will lead clinical and operational pharmacy efforts, partnering with health center providers and the patient care team. You will shape patient experiences and drive the site’s impact within the community.

You will report to NuvemRx Pharmacy leadership and collaborate with the health center client and its clinical staff to deliver high-quality, compliant care.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing or eligible to obtain Illinois licensure.
• Demonstrated ability to manage pharmacy operations independently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, providers and staff.
• Comfortable operating in an independent, community-focused setting with ownership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day pharmacy operations, including workflow, inventory, patient safety, and quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (HIPAA, Fraud, Waste & Abuse, etc.).
• Oversee dispensing, verification, and documentation practices to ensure accuracy.
• Hire, onboard, and develop pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of care and learning.
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to expand services and improve patient outcomes.
