Job summary

NuvemRx is seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge and Pharmacy Manager in Champaign, IL to lead a brand-new pharmacy embedded within a community health center. You will shape clinical and operational strategy, partner with health center staff, and drive day-to-day operations to deliver exceptional patient care.

You will be the clinical and operational leader, with ownership of patient experience, staff development, and compliance, reporting to NuvemRx Pharmacy leadership.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with Illinois licensure or eligibility.
• Demonstrated ability to manage pharmacy operations with patient care and compliance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day pharmacy operations and ensure workflow efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including HIPAA.
• Hire, onboard, and manage pharmacy staff and foster continuous learning.
• Partner with health center providers to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Oversee dispensing, verification, and documentation to ensure accuracy.
