Job summary

Promise Healthcare Pharmacy in Champaign, IL, seeks a Pharmacist-in-Charge/Pharmacy Manager to lead a newly embedded community pharmacy. You will partner with health center providers, oversee daily operations, and shape patient experience in a community setting.

The role reports to NuvemRx Pharmacy leadership, with a Monday–Friday schedule, no nights or weekends, and on-site parking. Competitive compensation and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist (PharmD or BS Pharmacy) in good standing with Illinois licensure.
• Experience managing pharmacy operations with focus on patient care and compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with staff and patients.
• Ability to own operations in an independent, community-focused setting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical resource and partner to health center providers with drug therapy consultation and patient education.
• Counsel patients on medications, adherence, chronic disease management, and preventive care.
• Participate in clinical team meetings and population health initiatives.
• Administer immunizations and support vaccination programs as applicable.
