Job summary

NuvemRx is seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge and Pharmacy Manager for a new embedded site in Galena, IL. You will lead clinical and operational pharmacy functions, partner with the health center, ensure compliance, and build patient-centered care in the community.

You'll oversee dispensing, staffing, and daily operations, with a Monday–Friday schedule, no nights or weekends, and relocation support available. This is a launch opportunity with autonomy and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist eligible for Illinois licensure to practice in a community health setting.
• Ability to lead clinical services and ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in management or supervision of pharmacy staff desired.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical resource and partner to health center providers.
• Counsel patients on medications, adherence, and chronic disease management.
• Participate in clinical team meetings and population health initiatives.
• Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, staffing, and documentation.
