Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist Manager to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. You will counsel patients, manage dispensing, and ensure regulatory compliance while optimizing workflow and inventory.

Key responsibilities include coaching staff, expanding clinical services such as immunizations, and collaborating with providers to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must hold a valid license in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, and insurance billing.
• Experience handling controlled substances and compliance with state/federal laws.
• Strong leadership with documented performance management experience.

Responsabilités

• Counsel patients on medication usage, interactions, and safety.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Dispense prescribed medications accurately and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee pharmacy operations, scheduling, and staff development.
• Improve workflow, inventory, and pharmacy financials while enhancing patient experience.
• Collaborate with providers and payers; address insurance issues and audits.
