Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance billing.
• Experience with state and federal controlled substance laws.
• Average leadership rating of 3.0+ on the last performance review (internal candidates).

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions and generics.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Reviews and accurately dispenses prescribed medications and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Oversees pharmacy workflow, scheduling, and staff development to improve efficiency.
• Maintains pharmacy records, reports, and documentation per state and federal laws.
