Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.

Responsibilities

• Engages patients to ensure a positive patient experience and answers questions about medications, side effects, interactions, and alternatives.
• Counsels patients on medication usage, safety, and privacy; coordinates with medical providers when needed.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Maintains compliance with regulations, policies, and ensures efficient pharmacy workflow and inventory management.
• Leads pharmacy staff training, performance reviews, and motivates team to achieve goals.
• Develops relationships with local medical community and supports health services outreach.
