Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is hiring a pharmacy technician to be the single point of contact for specialty-patient support. You will assist with refills, coordinate drug delivery, and address insurance and copay challenges while monitoring patient adherence.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience, state licensure, and strong Microsoft Office skills. This onsite, M-F position offers a salary plus bonus and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• We are seeking experienced pharmacy technicians registered with the State of employment.
• Nationally certified as a CPhT is preferred but not required.
• 2–5 years of experience required, 5–8 years preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; strong Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for a specialty pharmacy patient.
• Assess needs and provide support with every refill and coordinate delivery.
• Address insurance and copay challenges and monitor adherence.
• Collaborate with clinical pharmacist, prescriber and clinic staff to resolve issues.
