Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to serve as the primary contact for specialty pharmacy patients in an outpatient clinic setting in Massachusetts. The role involves coordinating refills, drug delivery, resolving insurance and copay issues, and monitoring adherence in collaboration with pharmacists and clinic staff.

Requirements include 2–5 years of experience, state licensure as a Pharmacy Technician, and HS Diploma or GED. National CPhT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician licensed by the state; CPhT preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for specialty pharmacy patients and assist with refills.
• Coordinate drug delivery and address insurance and copay challenges.
• Monitor patient adherence and collaborate with pharmacists, prescribers and clinic staff to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data entry.
