Job summary

Shields Health Solutions seeks a Pharmacy Technician Liaison to deliver a full continuum of medication-adherence support across clinics and hospital teams. You will work independently, build credibility with clinicians, and navigate multiple software platforms with ease.

You will educate patients and staff, resolve insurance issues including prior authorizations, document thoroughly, and participate in ongoing process improvements while maintaining confidentiality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CPhT certification preferred but not required.
• 2 years minimum experience as a Pharmacy Technician; 3–5 years preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication; judgment and independence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; quick to learn new software and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide full suite of medication management and patient care services.
• Collaborate with hospital clinicians and clinic teams for patient support.
• Educate patients on hospital pharmacy services and adherence programs.
• Assist with insurance issues, prior authorizations, and financial assistance.
• Maintain documentation across systems and manage data consistently.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and confidentiality compliance.
