The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Pharmacist leader to oversee all aspects of its pharmacy practice and financial performance. You will manage budgets, control labor costs, train staff, and ensure excellent customer service while complying with laws and corporate policies.

Responsibilities include directing teams, maintaining records, and driving strategic sales initiatives within the division. Travel may be required to support business needs and public health efforts.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited U.S. school.
• 2+ years related retail experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Participation in clinical programs following company sponsored training
• Ability and willingness to continue education as necessary
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and documents
• Proven leadership skills
• License must be in good standing

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, supervise, and promote the sales plan and other sales initiatives as developed by the division pharmacy department
• Perform all duties required of a registered pharmacist and comply with legal and company requirements
• Direct the pharmacy team to achieve warehouse utilization goals, avoid unnecessary overstock, reduce the number of fill on-arrival prescriptions, and ensure that all staff follow proper ordering and inventory procedures
• Comply with corporate mandated controlled substance operating procedures
• Monitor third-party profitability; handle third-party problems, rejections, and audits in a timely fashion
• Schedule all pharmacy staff members to help control or avoid unnecessary labor costs
• Maintain all pharmacy records required by state and federal laws and company policies
• Direct pharmacy to meet budgeted labor, volume, inventory and sales goals
• Perform effective detailing visiting local physicians and other community targets
• Promote, implement, and participate in public health initiatives and disease state management services
• Travel independently as needed to support business needs
• Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide direct feedback to direct reports
