Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an experienced Pharmacist Manager in Colorado Springs to lead a high-performing pharmacy team, ensure compliant dispensing, and drive patient care initiatives.

You will oversee daily operations, collaborate with health providers, and deliver immunizations, medication reviews, and wellness services while maintaining exceptional patient experiences and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in the states within the district.
• Minimum 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, operations, software and insurance billing.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets, and dispenses prescribed medications accurately while ensuring compliance.
• Oversees pharmacy operations, scheduling, roles, and shift changes to maintain efficiency.
• Supports immunization, diagnostic testing, and wellness services for patients.
