Job summary

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in the practicing state.
• Doctorate of Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (where allowed).
• CPR certification required.
• 3 years of experience in retail/community practice.
• 1 year of management experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy systems and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Staffing selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Conduct performance reviews for pharmacists and technicians.
• Document and apply disciplinary actions as needed.
• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Implement and manage pharmacy programs including finances and inventory.
• Educate and mentor staff to improve performance.
• Lead and develop team members to grow the business.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and federal/state laws.
• Oversee clinical services such as immunizations where allowed.
