Responsibilities

• Retrieve the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Input customer and prescription information in the pharmacy system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Complete paperwork for filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order prescription medications for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock prescription medications.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Prioritize workload and manage competing tasks.
• Use effective communication and be a positive change agent.
• Maintain a clean, orderly pharmacy and patient confidentiality.
