Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Pharmacy Senior Certified Technician to support and train a high‑performing pharmacy team in a fast-paced retail setting in Michigan. You will assist the pharmacist, ensure accurate dispensing, and uphold HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

Must be professional, dependable, and able to gain support of others to lead a high performing pharmacy team
Self-motivated, organized, able to prioritize, plan and meet deadlines
HIPAA regulations knowledge and compliance essential

Responsibilities

Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Assist pharmacist in responsibilities and mentor technicians
Provide stellar customer experience with accurate reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing
Train and mentor new hire technicians and support pharmacy staff
Oversee scheduling and station rotation for hourly staff
Manage inventory including orders, returns and physical inventory
Coach technicians to maintain safety and quality standards
Prepare for offsite clinical events to support pharmacists
Ensure sanitation and safety regulations and company guidelines are followed
Report any illegal activity and comply with all regulations
