Job summary

Kroger in Oregon is seeking a Pharmacy Senior Certified Technician to support pharmacists, dispense medications, and provide exceptional customer service. You will train others, manage scheduling, oversee inventory, and uphold HIPAA and safety standards in a community-focused setting.

Base responsibilities include immunization administration where permitted and leading a team to deliver accurate pharmacy services with a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of Pharmacy Certified Technician experience within the Kroger enterprise.
• Must be at least 18 years old and capable of leading a high-performing pharmacy team.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities not requiring pharmacist judgement.
• Provide stellar customer experiences through reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Train and mentor new hire technicians; support day-to-day training.
• Lead department meetings and manage scheduling and rotation for hourly staff.
• Oversee inventory management, including orders, returns, and physical inventory prep.
• Administer immunizations where permitted by state law and ensure safety compliance.
