Kroger is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support health and wellness initiatives in our store pharmacy. You will assist pharmacists, handle data entry, patient interactions, and dispensing steps while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives within the store.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Maintain current national/state registration, certification, or license as required.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities that do not require pharmacist judgment.
• Provide excellent customer experience through reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing steps.
• Support coaching and training of clerks/technicians.
• Compound medications per state regulations.
• Perform post‑fill audits to verify prescription information.
• Support non‑dispensing services using various platforms and apps.
• Complete CLIA‑waived screenings where allowed by law and policy.
• Provide health and wellness services allowed by state and regulatory bodies.
• Follow sanitation and safety guidelines; report unsafe conditions.
