Minimum requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of pharmacy certified technician experience within Kroger
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Professionalism, dependability, positive attitude, good judgment, leadership skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
  • Effective communication with leaders and peers
  • Current registration, certification, or license as required by state
  • Ability to handle confidential information

Desired qualifications:

  • Over 1 year of management or supervisory experience
  • Support for health and wellness initiatives
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  • Assist pharmacists in responsibilities excluding professional judgment
  • Provide excellent customer experiences and support technician training
  • Lead by example, delegate tasks, and manage scheduling
  • Prepare for offsite clinics and oversee inventory management
  • Recognize safety issues and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
  • Administer immunizations as permitted by law
  • Perform all essential functions of a pharmacy senior certified technician, with or without reasonable accommodation
