With 250+ clinicians and 110+ locations across 7 states, we are expanding and seeking to build a remote call center workforce in the Raleigh, North Carolina region.

The Patient Service Agent position introduces you to our patient and practice management systems, focusing on effective communication and scheduling. Responsibilities

  • Manage 80-100 inbound/outbound calls daily, assisting with appointment scheduling and ensuring clear communication between patients, physicians, and pharmacies.
  • Master internal systems such as phone and EHR systems.
  • Manage provider scheduling and communications.
  • Handle patient information with confidentiality and in compliance with HIPAA and PHI regulations.
  • Schedule and reschedule patient appointments.
  • Listen actively and communicate empathetically with patients.
  • Escalate patient issues requiring special attention.
  • Meet or exceed individual monthly performance goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Professional, pleasant, and clear speaking voice.
  • Positive attitude reflected in interactions with patients.
  • Attention to detail, especially in professional writing.
  • Ability to follow directions and adhere to policies.
  • Quiet workspace conducive to privacy.
  • Reliable high-speed internet for calls and training.

Education/Experience:

  • 1-3 years of customer database (CRM) experience.
  • College education or relevant coursework.
  • Call center experience preferred.
  • Experience with outbound sales/service calls preferred.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for extended periods at a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
