Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a customer-focused associate to support day-to-day store operations and strengthen the customer experience. You will greet customers, answer questions, and assist with products and services to ensure satisfaction.

Under supervision, you will handle inventory accuracy, order processing, and vendor coordination while maintaining pricing integrity and merchandise presentation. This role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to Walgreens service standards.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens or one year of prior retail work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• “Achieving expectations” rating on last performance review and no written disciplinary actions in the previous 12 months (internal candidates only).
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and offer assistance with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with team members.
• Execute and coach inventory and vendor processes including receiving orders.
• Assist with pricing changes and store merchandising to maintain accurate signage.
• Support front-end and pharmacy ordering and assist with package deliveries and pickups.
• Register sales on POS system and handle returns, refunds, and cash handling as needed.
