Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory Associate to execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices across the store, including front end and pharmacy. You will assist in receiving, counting, ordering, pricing, and returns, and ensure planograms and On-Shelf Availability are accurate.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience (Walgreens internal candidates) or one year in retail preferred.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor inventory best practices for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management, receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Validate and ensure accuracy of planograms and on-shelf availability.
• Open/close store duties in designated stores as required.
• Engage customers, assist with products/services, and resolve issues for a positive experience.
• Coordinate warehouse and vendor inventory management processes (receiving, orders).
• Ensure pharmacy shipments are posted and report shortages/damages.
• Perform pricing activities and maintain accurate signage and regulatory pricing tasks.
• Assist with front end and pharmacy ordering and manage consigned inventory.
