Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a detail‑oriented Inventory Associate to support both front end and pharmacy operations. You will handle receiving, counting, pricing and returns, while ensuring accurate planograms and inventory records. The role includes shelf maintenance, price changes, and supporting store tasks as needed.

The position requires English fluency, the ability to multitask, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Experience with Walgreens systems and pharmacy processes is a plus.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of retail experience.
• Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor and train inventory best practices for the store and pharmacy, including receiving, counting, ordering and returns.
• Protect front end and pharmacy assets; file claims for overages, shortages, and damaged goods.
• Open and close the store in the absence of management, manage cash handling and cashier responsibilities, ensure floor and stock room readiness.
• Scan deliveries, process One Box receipts, contact vendors for undelivered items, and correct order inaccuracies.
• Verify pharmacy shipments and postings, manage recalls, and report shortages or damaged medications.
