Additional Information About the Role

Are you a licensed pharmacy tech looking for a new adventure? Our growing Home Infusion team is seeking a motivated pharmacy tech to join us!

This role involves working in our shipping area, pulling and organizing supplies for medication shipments. If you have warehouse pharmacy experience, we would love to hear from you!

• Monday - Friday, Days
• Rotating shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• No weekends or holidays

BJC Home Care offers comprehensive home care services, including skilled nursing, hospice and supportive care, rehabilitation therapy, home infusion therapy, medical equipment, and high-tech respiratory care. We also provide specialized programs for asthma, cardiac, diabetes, orthopedic, and wound care.

Serving over 25 counties in Missouri and Illinois, BJC Home Care is one of the largest home care networks in the country.

The Home Infusion Therapy Department collaborates with physicians, patients, and caregivers to enable patients to receive intravenous medications at home. Services include 24-hour pharmacy and nursing support, patient education, medication monitoring, and coordination of home care services.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Ensure the availability of supplies for quality patient care in the pharmacy department.

Responsibilities

1. Coordinate and distribute materials and pharmaceuticals to pharmacy storage locations.
2. Ensure proper hand-offs for all items, including perishables.
3. Remove packaging and trash from pharmacy storage areas.
4. Report inventory stock outs and variances to help prevent errors in stocking and picking.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience

• Less than 2 years

Supervisor Experience

• None required

Licenses & Certifications

• State Board Pharmacy Registration
