Are you a licensed pharmacy tech looking for a new adventure? Our growing Home Infusion team is seeking a motivated pharmacy tech to join us!

In this role, you will work in our shipping area, pulling and organizing supplies for medication shipments. If you have warehouse pharmacy experience, we would love to hear from you!

• Monday - Friday, Days
• Rotating shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• No weekends or holidays

Overview

BJC Home Care offers a complete range of home care services, including skilled nursing, hospice, supportive care, rehabilitation therapy, home infusion therapy, home medical equipment, and high-tech respiratory care. We also provide specialty programs for asthma, cardiac, diabetes, orthopedic, and wound care for both adult and pediatric patients.

Serving over 25 counties in Missouri and Illinois, BJC Home Care is the largest home care network in the region and one of the largest nationwide.

The Home Infusion Therapy Department collaborates with physicians, patients, and caregivers to enable patients to receive intravenous medications at home. Our services include 24-hour on-call pharmacy and nursing services, comprehensive patient education, patient assessments, drug administration monitoring, and coordination of professional services including home care nursing and laboratory services.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Ensure the availability of necessary supplies to provide quality patient care within the pharmacy department.

Responsibilities

1. Coordinate and distribute materials and pharmaceuticals to pharmacy stocking locations.
2. Ensure proper hand-offs for all items, including perishable goods.
3. Coordinate removal of packaging and trash from pharmacy stocking locations.
4. Provide information on inventory stock-outs and variances to help eliminate errors in stocking and picking merchandise.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience

• Less than 2 years

Supervisor Experience

• No experience required

Licenses & Certifications

• State Board of Pharmacy Registration

Preferred Requirements

Experience

• 2-5 years
