Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Pharmacy Services Materials Coordinator to compile, prepare, and generate purchase orders, ensuring a continuous supply of pharmaceuticals while maintaining accountability for all drug receipts and transactions in DSCSA and 340b compliance.

The role collaborates with system and local pharmacy teams, handles CSOS/NDC documentation, and coordinates annual inventories. Requires high school diploma, 2 years’ experience, and potential CPhT certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or higher. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of pharmacy field or materials management experience required.
• CPhT (preferred) and active pharmacy licensing/registration where required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with system and local pharmacy teams to ensure standard ordering and approval processes.
• Manages controlled substances orders in CSOS and 222 forms with proper documentation.
• Oversees perpetual inventory compliance and processes outdated items/returns.
• Coordinates physical inventory procedures and reconciles invoices with accounts payable.
• Aligns purchases with system contracts, programs and drug shortage plans.
• Prepares and processes payment for invoices per procedures.
• Maintains pharmacy inventory documentation for DSCSA and 340b compliance.
• Assist local staff with day-to-day operations.
