Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is hiring a Pharmacy Services Materials Coordinator to manage ordering, inventory, and supplier relations for medications. The role emphasizes DSCSA and 340b compliance, plus coordination of physical inventories and invoice processing.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in pharmacy materials management, with a Pharmacy Technician license or certification preferred. The position is full-time in a hospital setting with on-site work.

Qualifications

• Possess and maintain registration or licensing as a Pharmacy Technician to operate in the state.
• Current certification/licensing required; if not certified, obtain within 12 months.
• CPhT (preferred) and related pharmacy materials management experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with system and local pharmacy teams to standardize ordering and approvals.
• Process controlled substances orders in CSOS and 222 forms with proper documentation.
• Oversee perpetual inventory and ensure compliance with DSCSA and 340b.
• Monitor outdated items and process returns as needed.
• Coordinate annual physical inventory procedures and reconcile invoices.
• Align purchases to contracts, programs, and initiatives.
• Plan with teams to address current drug shortages.
