Meijer Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to provide patient-focused service, accurately process and fill prescriptions, and carry out third-party functions under supervision; you will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced community setting and contribute to safe, efficient care.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy Intern License (state-specific).
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Neat and legible penmanship; organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer service.
• Communicating with patients in person and by telephone; assist with product selection; obtain prices.
• Processing and filling prescriptions.
• Use pharmacy computer system for prescription data entry and third-party adjudication; pull products; label prescriptions.
