Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support customer service and prescription processing within our store pharmacy. You will assist patients, handle pricing inquiries, and help manage inventory while working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and a patient-centered approach, with opportunities to learn clinical services and MTM platforms as you progress through your internship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy Intern License (state specific).
• Strong communication and patient-service focus.
• Ability to handle prescriptions and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and pharmacy support.
• Assist patients with product selection and prescription pricing.
• Process and fill prescriptions accurately.
• Use pharmacy computer system for data entry and third-party adjudication.
• Manage inventory and balance on hand; process vendor transactions.
• Perform clinical services under pharmacist supervision.
