Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy Intern License (state-specific).
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Neat handwriting and strong organizational skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with timeliness and dependability.
• Basic math skills and professional appearance.
• Understanding of patient confidentiality and MTM concepts.
• Knowledge of brand/good/generic names and pharmacology terminology.

Responsibilities

• Customer service.
• Communicate with patients in person and by phone; assist with product selection and pricing requests.
• Process and fill prescriptions.
• Use pharmacy computer system for data entry and third-party adjudication; label and dispense prescriptions.
• Third-party functions.
• Inventory management and order processing.
• Update balance on hand; manage vendor charges and transfers.
• Clinical services.
• Performs other duties as required.
