Meijer is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support customer service, prescription processing, and basic clinical services in a community pharmacy setting. You will interact with patients, assist with product selection, and participate in third-party billing and inventory management under supervision.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy intern license (state-specific).

• Knowledge of medication names, dosing, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist patients in selecting products.
• Communicate with patients in person and by phone; obtain medication prices as needed.
• Process and fill prescriptions using the pharmacy computer system.
• Perform third-party adjudication and billing tasks.
• Manage inventory: balance on hand, orders, and vendor processes.
• Support clinical services and stay current with pharmacy-related duties.
