Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support customer service and prescription processing while gaining hands-on clinical experience. You will assist customers, handle third party billing, and help manage inventory under supervision, contributing to patient care and safety.

The ideal candidate is enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program, holds a state-specific intern license, and demonstrates strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy Intern License (state specific).
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Neat and legible penmanship.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the Meijer Pharmacy.
• Assist patients with product selection and obtain medication prices.
• Process and fill prescriptions accurately.
• Use the pharmacy system for data entry and third party adjudication.
• Manage inventory and balance on hand; handle orders and vendor charges.
• Perform clinical services under pharmacist supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
