Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support customer service, prescription processing, and clinical services. You will work under supervision to enter and fill prescriptions, coordinate third-party billing, and help manage inventory with a focus on patient care.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program, possess state intern eligibility, have strong communication skills, and a patient-focused approach to service and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school and pursuing degree.
• Pharmacy intern license required or in-state eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist patients in person and by phone.
• Process and fill prescriptions and manage third-party adjudication.
• Use pharmacy computer system for entry, labeling, and will-call dispensing.
• Manage inventory, balance on-hand, and coordinate with vendors.
• Provide clinical services as trained and authorized.
