Meijer is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support customer service, prescription filling, and clinical services under supervision. Responsibilities include operating the pharmacy computer system, processing third-party transactions, and assisting with inventory management.

You will work with patients and healthcare providers to ensure accurate medication dispenses and quality care, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school with potential for internship.
• Pharmacy Intern License (state specific) required or in progress.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service and communicate with patients in person and by phone.
• Process and fill prescriptions; use computer system for data entry and third party adjudication.
• Count and label prescriptions; prepare medications at the fill station; assist Will Call customers.
• Perform third-party functions and manage inventory; update balance on hand and orders.
• Support clinical services with guidance from licensed pharmacists; adhere to confidentiality.
