Walgreens Boots Alliance seeks a post-graduate pharmacy intern to perform supervised clinical duties, counsel customers on medications, and provide immunizations in accordance with state regulations and company policies.

The role supports dispensing accuracy, drug therapy reviews, inventory management, and collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager to optimize customer experience and store operations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university outside the United States.
• FPGEC certification.
• Intern permit/certificate as required by the respective Board of Pharmacy.
• Willingness to obtain licensure within 45 days of intern hours.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions, and generics while ensuring privacy and proper reporting.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Dispenses prescribed medications accurately and reviews prescriptions to support workload.
• Supports regulatory compliance, policies, workflow efficiency, and inventory management.
• Participates in community outreach and immunization services.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (foreign)

FPGEC

Intern permit/certificate

Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 45 days

Certified Immunizer
