Qualifications

• Post-graduate pharmacy activities under supervision
• Immunizations and preventive care services
• Review and verification of prescribed medications
• Adherence to regulatory guidelines and company policies

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, resolve issues, enhance experience
• Demonstrate Walgreens service traits and proactive assistance
• Build relationships with valuable customers and promote healthcare services
• Participate in community events as requested by store leadership
• Counsel patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions and privacy
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews and medication management
• Distribute prescribed medications accurately and follow workflow procedures
• Ensure compliance with Good Faith Dispensing and controlled substance laws
• Support pharmacy manager with procedures, staffing and KPI reviews
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy systems and propose improvements
• Assist in insurance claim processing and third-party audits
• Provide immunizations and wellness services
• Collaborate with medical providers and local healthcare community
• Partner with Central Pharmacy Operations for patient registration and 3rd party reviews
• In virtual environments, conduct product reviews following company guidelines
• Assist in inventory management and asset protection
