Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program in a retail pharmacy setting. The role focuses on applying didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, contributing to safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, and delivering caring patient service.

You will gain hands-on experience through a structured training roadmap, with exposure to store, district, and regional operations while supporting the pharmacy team and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Able to travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists and technicians with day-to-day operations to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic customer service and support immunizations and other services where allowed.
• Follow all SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures for safe dispensing.
• Support telephonic prescriptions and clinician communication under supervision.
• Contribute to a high-performing team and participate in training and coaching as directed.
