Job summary

CVS Health’s 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program offers hands-on experience in a CVS retail pharmacy, guiding interns through store operations and patient-centered care.

Under a preceptor’s supervision, interns complete a comprehensive training roadmap, learn to fill prescriptions accurately, and support immunization and clinic services as permitted by state law, while building readiness for a pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians in patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic, patient-focused service and assist with immunizations and other services where allowed.
