Job summary

CVS Health is offering a part-time 3rd‑year Pharmacy Intern program in our Retail locations. You will apply classroom learning to real-world pharmacy operations under a pharmacist preceptor, supporting the team to dispense prescriptions safely and provide caring service to patients.

You will gain hands-on experience across store, district, and regional operations while developing toward a pharmacist role, with extensive hands‑on training and SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance, including potential nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, promptly, and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and care to patients and communicate with team members effectively.
• Support immunizations, point-of-care testing, and vaccination activities as trained and allowed by state law.
• Follow SOPs and maintain accurate documentation and privacy standards.
