Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern position to apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor. You will support the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, while delivering caring service that exceeds patient expectations.

You will gain hands-on experience through a training roadmap with KLEs, activities, and leadership exposure across store, district, and regional

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, internship/technician licensure as required.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists and Technicians manage patient health.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment at all pharmacy workstations.
• Counsel patients where appropriate and provide empathetic, high-quality service.
• Assist with immunizations, point-of-care testing, and other services where allowed by law.
• Support inventory activities and maintain compliance with regulations.
