Job summary

CVS Health’s 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program offers hands-on exposure to pharmacy operations, under a licensed pharmacist, with a training roadmap and opportunities to assist in immunizations and patient services. You will learn to navigate store, district, and regional operations while delivering safe, compassionate patient care.

This part-time internship focuses on SOP compliance, teamwork, and continuous improvement within CVS Health stores, building preparation for a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Must be accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focused on Key Learning Experiences and hands-on practice.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Adhere to SOPs, policies, and patient privacy requirements.
• Provide empathetic and caring service to patients and colleagues.
• Travel to stores in the market to support shifts as needed.
