Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern position in our retail network. You will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to store operations and district leadership.

You'll help ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, learn SOPs, and develop professional skills while delivering compassionate care to patients and supporting immunizations and other services where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Availability to work a schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Follow SOPs and participate in training to learn pharmacy operations.
• Deliver compassionate customer service and maintain patient privacy.
• Travel to stores in the market as needed to cover shifts.
